About Us

Currin Compliance Services (CCS) was founded by Cailie Currin in 2007 to help clients develop, review, and file life and annuity products in New York State. Today, we focus exclusively on products, advertising, operational, and distribution compliance for the life insurance industry, though our focus is no longer solely on New York State.

Our mission is to deliver an unparalleled combination of knowledge, creativity, and superior problem-solving skills to each compliance challenge our clients face in the insurance industry.

In addition to product submissions, we assist with company and agent licensing, financial and market conduct examinations, plus drafting and submitting plans of operation. We also assist with specific regulatory actions and determination requests and advocate for our clients with insurance regulators on various life insurance and annuity issues.

The life insurance and annuity industries are challenging, demanding, and fast-paced. Compliance professionals must foresee, understand, and solve problems efficiently based on a client's needs and expectations. Currin Compliance provides the quality of service one hopes to find at a large law or consulting firm together with a level of personal attention, versatility, and fee flexibility* that larger firms cannot match.

Our extensive experience handling compliance matters for life, health, and annuity companies shows in every interaction with clients and regulators. We are accessible to our clients and return phone calls and emails quickly — usually on the same business day.

Ensuring that the scope of work stays consistent with our client's expectations and budgets is essential. Open and direct communication around these issues is key to maintaining positive relationships.

*Many clients have concerns about fees and budget constraints. We are happy to discuss options both initially and as the project progresses. We want to ensure our clients understand and are comfortable with the fee structure. Billing can occur on an hourly basis, as a pre-determined amount for the entire matter, or another option that makes sense for the project and everyone involved.
