Using Sources in Advertisements

Sources are a great way to provide factual data and to back up claims made in advertising material. It is important that you identify the source of any number or statistic used in an advertisement. In addition, the advertisement should only contain recent and relevant facts. In general, sources should be no more than two years old. It is also recommended for record retention purposes that you keep a physical copy of any source used.
